Well Guys, it looks like this is the year we pull ourselves away from business as usual. We always strive to enhance our own personal and professional development, so we won't be providing our services, and sharing in your experiences over this next season. Be assured however, we are working hard to provide you with an optimal experience for 2018!
In the mean time, keep tabs on our social media platforms to follow along on our journey!

Success is not counted by how high you have climbed, but by how many people you brought with you
— Will Rose

My journey began as simple as most young men’s did under the endless hours of sunlight in the Alberta prairies. Mom had to pretty much drag me in at the end of the day, and I was never content sitting around for a single day when there was a big beautiful world out there to experience! Growing up in Southern Alberta I spent much of my time exploring the depths of coulees, and the tops of hoodoo’s that have developed in the Badlands over thousands of years.

If I wasn’t scaling to the top of a massive hoodoo, I could be found hanging from the limbs of a giant cotton wood tree, that often line the banks of the South Saskatchewan River. This all changed for me when I decided to enter into employment in the booming Alberta oilfield. Growing tired of this lifestyle and employment after thirteen years, my wife and kids encouraged me to pursue my passion for the outdoors, and capitalize on my natural leadership abilities. I began my education at the Medicine Hat College in 2010 in the Ecotourism and Outdoor Leadership program, where I have since completed a Bachelors Degree of Applied Science.

Over the years, I have had a great deal of experiences that have helped develop who I am today. I have volunteered my time with organizations like the YMCA, and the South Eastern Alberta Search and Rescue, and I have dedicated myself to the Medicine Hat Climbing Club for a number of years to share in the passion for rock climbing with new and existing members. I have since begun transferring the knowledge acquired by the numerous mentors in my life, to the clients at OCD Adventures. With this mentorship, I have achieved certification in multiple backgrounds, and have always practiced my craft when it comes to outdoor pursuits. By the list of certifications below, you’ll be able to appreciate where the name OCD Adventures comes from.

I can deeply relate to the old saying that life is a journey, and not a destination, and I would like to be a part of your journey.
